RE: 2008 Winter Concert

DATE: Sunday, December 7, 2008

LOCATION: Olathe South High School

TIME: Pre-concert Rehearsal:

• Philharmonic in room 405 from 1:00 to 2:00 then move on stage for remainder of rehearsal.

• Youth Symphony on stage (12:30 to 2:00) Concert Performance:

• 3:00 p.m. in the Olathe South auditorium

CONCERT LENGTH: approx. 90 minutes

WHAT DO I WEAR? Designated concert uniform (required)

• Philharmonic Orchestra members should bring a folding music stand for the pre-concert rehearsal.

• All orchestra members are required to stay for the entire concert and should be on stage at the conclusion of the concert to help put away chairs and stands.

• Concert dress is strictly enforced.

If you have questions please contact one of your directors as soon as possible. You may review appropriate concert dress on our web-site. • All percussionists are required to arrive early to set-up and stay late to put away ALL percussion instruments.

• The first rehearsal following the Dec. 7th concert will be on Monday, January 12, 2009. Please bring ALL first semester concert music to that rehearsal as we will collect it at that time.
